Sports & Fitness

Wooburn Green as a village has many beautiful, open green spaces making it a picturesque and charming spot. It provides the perfect place for Riverside walks too, with The River Rye running through the area.

At the heart of the village - as the name would suggest - is a village green surrounded by trees, cottages, Victorian and Edwardian houses, modern shops and local businesses.

Just moments from here are the large playing fields at Wooburn Park which boast a cricket pitch, tennis courts and is home to many local sports clubs including Wooburn Park Tennis Club and Wooburn Narkovians Cricket Club.

Eat & Drink

The area boasts a number of lovely restaurants, cafes and pubs to enjoy, serving various wonderful cuisines.

Dolce Vita is an authentic Italian restaurant, offering guests a delicious menu from the heart of Italy, in the heart of Wooburn Green. They use specially sourced quality ingredients to bring you the taste of freshly prepared Italian foods.

The Old Bell is a traditional family-run English country inn bursting with character. Dating back to the 16th Century, you’re sure to be charmed by the beamed ceilings, open fresh vibrant bar, restaurant and its lovely al fresco garden, serving fresh, local homemade food.

On your Doorstep

Wooburn Green is just 5 miles from the quintessentially British town of Marlow, famous for its historic streets with an abundance of boutique shops, cafes, bistros and even a Michelin Star restaurant. The town’s main landmark is the graceful suspension bridge which spans the Thames joining Buckinghamshire and Berkshire.

Just south of the village, is the National Trust property of Clivedon, where you can enjoy glorious gardens and woodlands overlooking the River Thames. As well as picturesque walks, boating and seasonal events, the area also offers visits to Clivedon’s iconic manor house.

For live shows and entertainment, The Wycombe Swan Theatre is again less than 5 miles away from Wooburn Green. They host shows all year round from live comedians to musicals and pantomimes. If you’re a theatre lover they also offer a friends membership where you’ll have access to exclusive events and discounts.
