David has been with Lifestory for over 5 years now and has continued to expand his role, recently being promoted to the leadership team as Sales Director alongside his existing Development responsibilities. Being able to interact with our Customers has always been a priority and this change in role has allowed him to meet more residents across our portfolio. To relax away from work, David enjoys running, cycling and sailing but will give almost any sport a try!
Emily joined Lifestory in 2019 and comes with over 20 years Sales and Marketing experience in the property arena. With a passion for all things design and a degree in Interior Design, she helps bring our homes to life. Emily spends much of her spare time with her 2 children, entertaining and squeezing in the odd run!
James is a Chartered Senior Development Manager with over 17 years of Industry experience and has worked on an extensive range of developments throughout London & the South East during that time. James says "it's a privilege to be able to take an Architect's sketch and manage a team to develop that idea through to a fully functioning & occupied place that people are proud to call their home". Away from work, James enjoys embracing all the challenges that come with having a young family.
Helen began her career as a Buyer for Marks and Spencer before taking time out to have a family. During this time, Helen worked for Property Investor, buying and selling properties in the Midlands. Helen then entered the Hospitality sector, working her way up to General Manager of Hotels and Conferencing where she spent the next 15 years, before joining Lifestory as the General Manager of 23a Leyton Road in Harpenden. Helen’s current role at Lifestory is centered around exceptional customer service which is something that Helen is extremely passionate about.
Marie works as a Sales Manager at our Hortsley development in Seaford. Marie thoroughly enjoys her role and is passionate about all of the great opportunities that Hortsley offers our owners; independence with security, a great social life but with privacy, good company, fun and laughter. In her free time, Marie enjoys a good social life, being a member of her local Yacht Club. She also loves to horse ride and travel the world as much as possible.
Marie joined Lifestory two years ago as a Lifehost at Hortsley in Seaford. Every day in Marie’s role is different which she loves and she really looks forward to the new challenges that each day brings. Marie has got to know our owners extremely well and has gained their confidence and trust, with her priority being to ensure that our owners are happy and well. Having moved to Seaford from Reigate three years ago, it’s safe to say that Marie loves the area and feels extremely lucky to be located at the foot of the South Downs National Park. In her spare time, Marie enjoys coastal walks with her family and swimming in the sea, when the weather allows!
Diane is a Lifehost at Hortsley in Seaford alongside Marie Clarke. For Diane, the best part of her job is building relationships with the lovely owners and the surrounding community. Diane also loves the events that take place at Hortsley, such as Fish & Chip lunches, coffee mornings and celebrating our owners’ birthdays. In her free time, Diane enjoys long walks in the forest, particularly during Autumn when all the leaves have fallen.
