Peter Symonds Adult & Higher Education department offers a fantastic range of courses, both daytime and evening, including drawing and painting, ceramics, floristry or jewellery making. There are all sorts of wonderful ways to fill your time. The Tower Arts Centre, on the other side of town, also offers a range of drawing and painting classes and here there is an exciting course for beginners and upwards to learn about sculpture. Hampshire Art Studio runs regular courses taught by tutors who are eminent in their field of practice and offers a wonderful resource for local artists.
