Our Lifestory Choices rental option gives people the freedom to live life on their own terms. It offers flexibility around changing needs, and the peace of mind that big decisions don’t have to be set in stone. It might be that you plan on selling in the future, but don’t want to sell right now.
Lifestory Choices allows you to sell when the market conditions are right. Not only that, but you can view your new home and move in as soon as one month later.
When you rent one of our homes you benefit from our Lifestory Customer Operations team. This includes dedicated Lifehosts, who will get to know you personally to learn your needs and preferences and craft a tailored experience of the community and its facilities - of which you will have full use.
Homemoves
Our Lifestory Homemoves service team understands that moving can be stressful. They offer guidance, advice and support so that you can decide what to take with you to your new home.
We also work with a company called Aprico, a member of the National Association of Senior Move Managers and the Association of Professional Declutterers & Organisers. Aprico help plan and arrange everything, so that you’re free to relax, confident that everything is in hand for the big day.

Choice to Buy
With Choice to Buy, you can move in and experience all the benefits of a Lifestory lifestyle, with the option to buy the property later.
From the moment you opt in to our Choice to Buy scheme, you will have six months to instruct your solicitor on the purchase. If you wish to go ahead, you have a further six months to complete. If you complete the purchase within a year, we will refund six months’ rent.
